Artist, curator, writer Lize Mogel (work in Rad Carto)
Area of Detail,-2008 is a work by Lize Mogel where she transformed the map of the world (as provided by the United Nations) into a flat plane representation of the world. The work explores the issues arising from the politics of such an act and how they impact interpretation. As she says in her description someone is always on top.
